Our story in the Okanagan

A registered non-profit rooted in Sikh teachings, serving Kelowna with humility and warmth.

Our History

Growing together in Kelowna

Kelowna Khalsa Sewa Society began as a circle of families committed to keeping Sewa, Simran, and Sangat alive in the Central Okanagan. From shared langar and quiet remembrance to youth gatherings and care for elders, our work has always been simple: show up for one another.

Today we welcome newcomers and longtime residents alike — creating a space where spiritual growth and community welfare walk hand in hand.

“The highest religion is to rise to universal brotherhood; to consider all creatures your equals.”
